Responsibilities

  • CONTENT INNOVATION AND CROSS FUNCTIONAL EDUCATION
  • Work cross functionally to advise and support the business and their social content plans and deliveries within the framework of an established content plan.
  • Help guide the broader cross-channel organisation teams to produce social-first content aligned to the strategy, brief and budget
  • Help educate connected teams in social content production and ensure all content considers social needs.
  • Develop close collaboration directly with JLR to ensure consistency across all social content.
  • Continually bring new methods, suppliers, creators and production tactics to develop content that is more engaging, entertaining, impactful and efficient

  • Ensure a pipeline of engaging social content creation for Jaguar, Range Rover, Defender, and Discovery Channels across social platforms.

    The Role:

    Social Media is important to the lifecycle of the JLR House of Brands. Jaguar, Range Rover, Defender and Discovery's social media presence is engaging, enables rich customer dialogues, sets industry first on TikTok and much more. The Social Media Producer brings a pipeline of content to life for JLR's main brand channels, providing best in class guidance across all networks and building the social experience tentpole moments as well as always on brand community building. Reporting jointly to the Director of Social Media and Head of Production, you will support new social media programs and content output across all of the JLR platforms.

    Qualifications

    Person Specification:

    • Extensive experience as a producer of content in multi-channel content creation and production
    • Adept in creating TikTok and Instagram content with production suppliers, creators, and in house facilities. Specific experience in, and knowledge of production for social media (formats, capture methods, working with creators)
    • A social native, passionate about social media and their trends
    • Demonstrable experience of being immersed in the social and digital landscape.
    • Significant experience managing production partners and setting a clear strategy for engagement.
    • Adept in creating TikTok and Instagram content with production suppliers and in house facilities. Specific experience in, and knowledge of production for social media (formats, capture methods, working with creators)
    • Expert in rapid/agile production frameworks and timelines, and keeping them on track
    • Experience with innovative or new production methods
    • Mature, collaborative, problem solver, partner, autonomous
    • In-depth expertise with digital and social content best practices
    • Ability to work collaboratively and to foster communication internally and externally.
