Responsibilities

  • Ownership of Operational Risk Management Framework and Risk Register
  • Ensuring Op Risk Management Framework is aligned with current regulation and covers full scope of applicable risks to Accenture Next Gen
  • Oversight and challenge of 1LOD adherence to Op Risk Management Framework and provision of support to risk/control owners as required
  • Oversight of Financial Risk Management (SOX) testing and reporting (SOX frameworks are owned by Finance)
  • Provide inputs to Board to set Risk Appetite and responsible for monitoring and reporting against Risk Appetite
  • Ensuring annual control testing regime is in place as well as monitoring and reporting control testing results
  • Issuance of RCSA timetable to 1LOD
  • Provide support, oversight and challenge to 1LOD on RCSA and issue consolidated RCSA report
  • Monitoring of issues raised and management of actions related to issues to ensure adequate mitigation
  • Ownership and maintenance of GRC tooling

    Accenture is seeking an experienced risk officer (at least 5 years' experience) in financial services (with special focus on insurance, consumer credit and debt collection regulations) for the United Kingdom, on a permanent basis.

    Responsibilities:

    Qualifications

    Skill & Experience:

    What skills & experience are we looking for?

    • Graduate or equivalent
    • At least 5 years in Financial Services, Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management required.
    • Demonstrated experience of running RCSAs, setting up Risk Managament Framework and reporting consoldiated risk to senior stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
    • Sound judgment, integrity, and ability to operate independently.
