Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a results-driven and strategic thinker to join our team as the Senior Manager of Digital Trading & Advocacy. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Digital Trading Strategy: You'll be developing and implementing a comprehensive digital trading strategy aligned with our overall business objectives. There will be opportunities to identify revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition through effective website sales optimisation.
  • Pricing and Promotions: This role will see you collaborating with pricing and marketing teams to develop and execute effective pricing, along with promotional strategies for website sales. It'll also see you monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to ensure competitive pricing and compelling offers that drive conversion and revenue growth.
  • Customer Experience Optimisation is key, so we'll need you to champion the enhancement of the customer experience throughout the website sales journey. Collaborating with UX/UI designers and product managers, you'll optimize website navigation, product search, checkout process, and overall usability. Ensure a seamless and user-friendly online shopping experience that drives customer satisfaction and repeat purchases.
  • Leading the Website Merchandising efforts, you'll ensure the right product assortment, pricing, promotions, and content are presented to customers in a compelling and user-friendly manner. Collaborating with the marketing and product teams is key to aligning merchandising strategies with overall brand positioning and campaign initiatives.
  • Digital Advocacy: You will be an advocate for change and digital inclusion across UK businesses. You will work closely with the Senior Manager for Digital & Total Experience to define the vision for digital inclusion and advocacy for Vodafone Business overall. You'll also have accountability for v-Hub , to guide and support UK businesses, creating a point of differentiation for Vodafone in the market and provide credibility to our support of UK Businesses.
  • To succeed in this role, you'll need to lead and inspire a team of digital trading professionals, providing guidance, coaching, support and continuous learning. There'll also be an abundance of stakeholder management, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, IT, and customer service.

    What you'll do

    Who you are



    • Demonstrable track record of developing and executing successful digital trading strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

    • Proven experience in previous digital trading or e-commerce leadership roles.

    • Experience in website merchandising, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximise sales performance and provide award winning experiences.

    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire large cross-functional teams.

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
