JOB TITLE: Senior Solution Architect
SALARY: £86,964 - £102,310
LOCATION(S): Halifax or Leeds
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per
week currently, or 40% of our time, at either our Halifax or Leeds hubs.

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our People Platform team at Lloyds Banking Group; a team in place to combine the best of colleague centricity, product obsession and agile delivery across our People Technology landscape. Our team is focussed on transforming the experiences throughout the end-to-end colleague lifecycle enabled by technology.
You will be at the heart of designing our solutions in a way that unlocks and creates opportunities to digitise and deliver excellent colleague journeys and business outcomes, as well as meeting the Group's strategic goals to simplify and redefine the technology landscape.
Purpose of the role
Our People Platform is structured into Labs, each focussed on end-to-end colleague journeys - from ‘Attract, Activate & Grow' through ‘Thrive' and ‘Succeed'. These are underpinned by enterprise technologies and business partnerships recognised as best in class across the People/HR systems domain.
We need a Senior Solution Architect who will have the opportunity to play a critical role in designing solutions that can provide continuous flow of value to our colleagues, and will be responsible for:
What we need from you?
We need a leader in Solution Architecture who understands the challenges of modern architecture. You will build a compelling strategic vision and will understand a wide array of technology implications including people and process, bringing this to your comprehensive view of design.
You'll ideally have previous career experience in software or infrastructure engineering and will be well placed to define and sell your vision for Engineers, Architects, and Product Owners alike.
You must be a keen and comfortable communicator who is happy working with a wide range of technical and non-technical colleagues. You would be able to produce high quality documentation tailored to the audience which would include senior stakeholders. As a role that can require demanding delivery timeframes, you will need to be self-organised and be able to proactively prioritise your time.
