• Driving the contracting strategy for Operate services, collaborating and aligning with other Global Operate teams, other Global functions, Deloitte Firms, and the Legal and Risks networks
• Pioneering the development of an overarching end-to-end contract management framework, including the development of associated policies, procedures, tools, and templates to drive adoption of contract management best practices across Global Operate. Evaluating current Deloitte Business and Deloitte Firm capabilities and identifying and recommending process improvements that are informed by knowledge of key contracting technology solutions, such as Generative AI, CLM, and digital workflow management
• Developing contracting enablers including identifying client contracting approach modifications, facilitating the development of network guidance to address market terms and conditions, developing standardized tools and technology where appropriate with the Deloitte Firms, and leveraging existing best practices from the Deloitte Firms, including real-time feedback from the field
• Collaborating with Global Business leaders to adapt contracting strategy, operating model, technology and enablers such that they address service-specific nuances in Operate services
• Facilitating deployment of contracting enablers, including input and agreement across Deloitte Firms, the businesses and the Legal and Risks networks
• Developing and supporting a Global Operate contract data capture strategy, including key contract metrics, post-signing compliance processes and obligation management processes to inform and support the Operate commercial strategy
• Partnering with Global business leaders and Deloitte Technology to align the technology, tools and processes to meet Global Operate objectives
• Coordinating the development of relevant guidance, lessons learned and training for contracting community
• Aggregating and sharing with Deloitte Firms (collected) leading practices specific to client contracting for Operate services
• Supporting other Global Operate work threads involved and/or related to contracting

Connect to your skills and professional experience

• Proven experience leading global teams in a senior Legal/ Legal Operations/ Risk/ Contract Management role.
• Proven experience leading a legal/risk operations organization at a multi-national organization
• Experience with rollouts of global standards, tools and technology across global organizations
• Significant experience in the design, development, and implementation of contracting technology solutions (CLM, GenAI, ServiceNow, etc.). Active engagement in leading contracting operations organizations with a broad perspective in contracting advancements and innovations.
• Proficient in leading strategy, driving process improvements, best practices, and reusable/repeatable artifacts for organizations
• Experienced with evaluating and identifying risk; developing systematic risk mitigation approaches (e.g., contractual and operational)
• Proven ability to influence buy-in and results among all work-levels, cross-border stakeholders, and sovereign decision-makers
• Global experience leading end-to-end process design, road mapping and deployment for associated enablers
• Successfully development training for end users
• JD is preferred
