Responsibilities

  • As Digital Trading Lead you will be responsible for driving the near to long term Digital trading approach across new acquisition, upsell and retention for all digital channels. With a strong understanding of Ecommerce, best practice and trading practices, you'll be an expert on increasing conversion and driving sales.
  • Collaboration is key! You'll be working closely with Digital Product development, Commercial, Go to Market, Demand Generation teams and more.
  • You'll own the plan for digital trading from target setting, pricing, promos and merchandising ensuring all items are delivered on time.
  • Do you have a naturally inquisitive mind and strong analytical skills? This role will see using trading data, site performance data, market insights, product trends and customer insight to identify opportunities to maximise conversion. Working closely with the Digital product team you will support and identify journey improvements required to maximise conversion.
  • To success in this role, you'll need vast commercial experience from an Ecommerce, digital trading background. You will be data driven with strong stakeholder engagement skills and comfortable working across multiple digital channels in a fast-paced environment.

    Who you are



    • Extensive Ecommerce and Digital trading experience within in a similar role.

    • Demonstrable experience of delivering sustained growth across Digital platforms/portals.

    • Previous leadership experience, with the ability to operate with incomplete information, plotting the right course of action to engage and inspire those around them.

    • Ability to confidently managed multiple Senior stakeholders, showcasing excellent communication and influencing skills.

    • Strong understanding of digital analytics (ability to use Adobe, Content Square and GA) and SEO.


    Key Accountabilities:



    • Define and execute the digital trading plan.

    • Balance trading priorities across categories (mobile, fixed, SaaS, etc) and platforms/portals to maximise performance.

    • Lead by example, deliver best in class online campaign execution.

    • Use data and analytics to identify opportunities to optimise site experience and maximise on site conversion.

    • Report to senior stakeholders on performance, trends and near, mid and longer terms plans.
