Responsibilities

  • Proactively supporting Product Owners and delivery leads with driving change initiatives.
  • Support & manage delivery plans and associated resources.
  • Supporting testing across various change deliveries, ensuring quality in our products and outputs.
  • Support with key governance and administrative activities, including minuting meetings, coordination, tracking and KPIs management.
  • Support tracking budgets and bring variances to the attention of senior colleagues, working within established budgeting systems.
  • Support tracking of risk parameters and identify and report any major deviation to more senior colleagues, working within established risk management systems.
  • Vendor and supplier management - ensuring delivery objectives are tracked and progressing to plan.
  • Being prepared to be an active learner, engaging in new opportunities for development.

    JOB TITLE: Project Support Assistant, LBCM Islands

    SALARY: £32,367 - £36,910 (depending on experience and location)

    LOCATIONS: Jersey or Isle of Man

    HOURS: Full-Time

    WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time in the office.

    We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Project Support Assistant to join our IT Change team in The Crown Dependencies as we undergo growth and investment to help us deliver and innovate new initiatives/projects.

We're expanding our digital footprint via several exciting and innovative initiatives and are looking for individuals who can work across a range of change deliveries. You could be working on anything from banking app development and innovation, through to large scale change deliveries.

    What You'll Need

    • Evidenced ability to manage own time, prioritise and self motivate.
    • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
    • Eagerness to explore all areas of the change lifecycle, and willingness to support different business areas.
    • Ability to create space to learn and collaborate; and a desire to innovate and test new ideas.
    • Resilience and adaptability.
    • Must be willing to undertake formal qualifications (MSP, Prince 2, PSM, BCS Agile or equivalent).

    And any experience of these would be really useful

    • Previous experience working within Financial services or in a delivery environment.
    • Interest in/awareness or digital innovations in the market place - not specifically in banking.
