Equity Derivatives Front Office Python Technical Lead

As a Barclays Equity Derivatives Front Office Python Technical Lead, you will be owning, developing and shipping both regulatory and revenue generating and projects in addition to improving the existing system. As a technical lead, you will be responsible for more than just your own deliveries, but that of the team as well (part of that team would be off shore). This will require a growth mindset and the ability to train, grow and lead a technical team.

What will you be doing?

• Being responsible for providing support and resolving production issues

What we're looking for:

• Extensive experience developing medium to large size Python applications

• Experience of working in an Agile environment (preferably Scrum/Kanban)

• Knowledge of server side development & multi-threaded code

• Experience of cross-region teams and projects and experience of HTTP protocol and web services

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience of Equity Derivatives/Structured products

• Knowledge of HTTP protocol and web services

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as: a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.
