Business Agility Partner

Glasgow, Northampton, London or Radbroke

As a Barclays Business Agility Partner, you'll be responsible for driving the accelerated adoption of agile methodologies within and across BUK Pods. Working with the Product Lead and Technology Lead, you will support with the practical uplift of on-the-ground capabilities through the implementation of method execution techniques to support Pod Leaders in fulfilling their maturity action plans. You will also be driving on-the-ground adoption of our Method standards, delivering iterative value at pace, while de-risking execution.

This role will be based from either Glasgow, Northampton, London or Radbroke. At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor', days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). What will you be doing?

What we're looking for:

• Experience defining and implementing Agile operating models across cross-functional teams within a complex, fast changing environment

• Has experience working with non-agile teams and translating industry standard Agile methodologies to business stakeholders

• Ability to influence key senior leaders and Stakeholders through excellent communication and presentations skills and ability to present and interpret data

• Experience in Lean Portfolio Management practices and driving planning and prioritisation processes

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Conceptual thinker with ability to translate this into pragmatic recommendations, taking on board business strategy

• Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum Management principles & tools e.g. Jira, Jira Align.

• Agile certifications (e.g. SAFe) preferred

• Ability to manipulate reports and analyse data to put forward recommendations and suggest new way of working

Glasgow:

Our new state-of-the-art Campus, right in the heart of Glasgow is a hub of creative collaboration. A place where everyone can bring their true selves to work and reach their full potential. Home to 5,000 of our colleagues, our Tradeston campus will support the community in more ways than one - by creating thousands of new career opportunities and celebrating local artists. A short walk from Central Station on the south of the Clyde, it will be a key location for the Barclays business that will deepen our ties with the city and its communities.

Northampton:

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff. The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.

London:

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.

Radbroke:

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64 acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
