You will be responsible for helping our banking clients to identify and implement the most appropriate and efficient testing solutions for their needs. We work with leading clients and vendors across the banking landscape. You will have the opportunity to drive the test strategy and implementation on both traditional and agile implementations for top tier clients. Working with a range of clients will also provide you the opportunity to broaden your senior network with industry leaders and grow your leadership skills. You will play an important role in leading practice development activities such as; developing new service offerings to take to market, thought leadership and contributing to the management of our business.

Responsibilities will include:

Connect to your skills and professional experience

To qualify for the role Senior Managers must have:

  • Experience of working with Next-Gen Core Banking solutions (10x, Thought Machine, Mambu, Temenos, FIS or equivalent).
  • Experience of core system modernisation (in particular within Banking but broader Financial Services would be relevant) with a track record of high performance and success in your role.
  • Experience of leading quality engineering for complex systems integration programmes in Financial Services. For example, new core integration into existing legacy architecture and required migration activities.
  • Experience in defining test strategies for large and complex IT change programmes.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience of building high performing quality engineering teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience of building and strengthening key client relationships.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, able to bridge both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness of how transformation programmes operate.

Additional desirable experience includes:

  • Experience or understanding of banking products, processes, and technologies in areas such as:
  • Commercial and/or Retail banking including but not limited to; products such as payments, mortgages, lending, trade and supply chain finance, cash management and liquidity.
  • Digital channels including but not limited to; mobile, web and Relationship Manager channels.
  • Digital platforms and technologies including but not limited to; cloud, API/Microservices, data and analytics.
  • The ability to develop solutions and value-adding propositions and take these to market.
  • Experience of managing, strengthening and broadening key client relationships.
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent.
  • Ability to design and implement test automation frameworks.
  • Industry certifications such as Scrum Master, BCS, ITIL, and cloud certifications such as AWS/GCP/Azure among others.
  • Proficiency or experience with a software development language e.g. Java, Python, SQL, HTML.
  • A proven track record in a top tier consultancy.
  • Strong proficiency in key day to day applications such as Microsoft Office, Jira and Confluence.
