Responsibilities

  • Defining robust operating models that underpin operational and tech change with detailed impact assessment of processes, procedures and desk manuals
  • Identifying customer journeys and business use cases through stakeholder workshops, to support agreed scope of transformation change
  • You will leverage knowledge of E2E customer journeys and use cases, to proactively identify and raise concerns on behalf of the business (be the voice-of-the-business)
  • Undertaking detailed impact assessment of new demand (change requests) on existing/target business processes
  • Partnering in the strategic planning process by informing scope definition of strategic initiatives to provide visibility of impact, dependencies and opportunities
  • Presenting a single version of truth for all stakeholders using clear and structured design artefacts based upon best practices, tools and templates
  • Using their knowledge of the target state, work with the business users/consumers to ensure all business readiness activities are identified and completed in time
  • Sharing and developing best practices, and contribute to the product design centre of excellence; being a custodian of ‘what does good look like'

Senior Client Onboarding Business Analyst

As a Barclays Senior Client Onboarding Business Analyst, you will have an exciting opportunity to report to the Head of Product Design, in a newly established Agile transformation environment. You will work closely with Business SMEs, Accountable Executives and Strategy teams to define detailed process models and business requirements, for key products. This role requires an experienced Business Analyst with a history of execution in Agile methodologies and driving innovative solutions from conception through to delivery into the business.

What will you be doing?

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in detailed operating model design (e.g. As-Is /To-Be process models, options papers), with excellent analytical skills and problem solving mind set

• Previous experience working in client onboarding /KYC projects in the financial services industry

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and leverage relationships and influence decision-making

• Must be comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving priorities

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Demonstrable awareness of regulatory and compliance landscape

• An understanding of the importance of prioritising and implementing Controls within E2E Processes and technology delivery

• Previous experience in shaping working practices in an Agile transformation environment

• Experience working closely with all levels of Business users to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
