What you'll do


Role title: Senior Manager, IOT (Contract Management)
Function: Vodafone IOT Operations
Department: Supply Chain Management
Reports to: Head of Supply Chain Management

Location: Flexible (UK Based)
The Senior Manager IOT NAAS will be responsible for the execution of Vodafone IoT's supply chain strategy to support business operations and performance in accordance with relevant sourcing practices and policies. As such, you will be part of a new function specific for IoT, managing existing supply relationships via Vodafone Procurement Company (VPC), direct with other Vodafone entities for existing and new services, and support future direct sourcing needs for IoT including critical supply arrangements for the procurement and in-life contract management of network services. Responsible and accountable for the end-to-end commercial (P&L), technical (to Contract) and service delivery (SLA compliance) of the IoT Network As A Service agreement, owning strong internal and external relationships and ensuring success on all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the P&L for the Customer Contract, making all relevant commercial decisions. Controlling internal costs in line with revenues
• Controlling Service delivery to contracted SLAs, ensuring all Vodafone functions work together to deliver above SLA performance
• Own the technical Roadmap for the service, ensuring it remains technically compelling within a reasonable cost base. Agree with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage the Complex in-life change management process, both technical and commercial with all stakeholders.
• Agree internal budgets with delivery teams based on expected volumes and revenues
• Manage and lead commercial relationship including prices, terms and contracts, leveraging on the respective core teams
• Supports escalations towards supplier topics and manage business risks, including contingency plans development including the tracking all escalated issues until closure
• Lead contract changes with respective supplier(s), and deliver in a timely and quality manner e.g. contract negotiations, contract management, contract amendments and Group Legal endorsements. Control of the change management process and adherence to those Contracts
• Be the Cross-functional owner and coordinator of all preliminary supplier on-boarding, engaging portfolio and product management to co-ordinate the interface with suppliers.
• Drive improvements of the supplier's performance and set standards for all suppliers (Activity wheel, Supplier Performance Matrix (SPM) evaluation, Supplier improvement plan)
