Responsibilities

  • As a Technology Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for defining and leading programs cutting across multiple channels, products, systems, and departments. You will be responsible for the management of business demand, delivery, and governance of the UK CAPEX funded initiatives to drive business growth.
  • You will be accountable for continuously monitoring the portfolio performance and conducting periodic performance reviews whilst providing reports and analysis to senior management on the portfolio.
  • You will collaborate and foster constructive working relationships within the UK Technology team by working collaboratively and constructively within UK Digital & IT to ensure delivery of the assigned portfolio. You will be partnering closely with internal stakeholders and our project teams to oversee the creation of necessary documentation, including, plans, schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • You will manage a high performing, collaborative delivery team who you will directly manage or manager through a matrixed organisation.
  • You will look to build strong relations and works closely with senior stakeholders across Vodafone and external partners in order to ensure alignment with the broader commercial objectives of the business.
  • You will be responsible for the management of CAPEX/OPEX budgets of up to £15M.

    Who you are
    - You will showcase experience in cross functional end to end technical project or program delivery experience.
    - You will feel comfortable building and managing complex stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
    - You will have a passion for driving technical change & transformation and have an understanding of applications and the software development lifecycle.
    - You will have a sound understanding of frameworks such as Waterfall/Agile and methodologies such as Prince 2 / SAFe.
    - You will preferably have experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams & feel comfortable inspiring and developing the team in a matrix environment.
