What you'll do
You'll apply effective risk management and decision making capability within an IT environment, anticipating and assessing the potential impact of risks across the organisation of services received.
You'll also:
- Lead engagement with key stakeholders across Technology and in the functions and franchises, including second line of defence and Internal Audit
- Provide governance, oversight, and supervision of technology services received
- Proactively deliver multiple performance goals with minimal line manager direction and intervention
- Take ownership for building and maintaining a network of key contacts and influencers
The skills you'll need
You'll be a subject matter expert in risk management methodologies, with knowledge of control and process design methods, and practical experience of regulatory and operational risk in a technology environment.
You'll also need:
- Experience in the financial services industry
- The ability to benchmark inherent resilience of technology architecture
- Experience in independently assuring the adequacy and effectiveness of processes and controls
- A strong knowledge of IT service management processes
