  • Hosting training forums within GFCO bringing in supporting functions such as operations, QA and QC

  • Proving and challenging the effectiveness of the training process, including mandatory policy training, internal process training and general operational procedures

    Financial Crime Training Manager

    As a Barclays Financial Crime Training Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of all training delivered within Group Financial Crime Operations. Leading with all internal and external inductions and the support in overseeing of associated accreditations and ‘route to competency' journeys. You will play a key role in supporting the operation with their short and long term training requirements, this will include creating new training where required and adapting current training in line with changes to policy.

    What will you be doing?

    • Creating, planning and delivery of all training material to the operation

    • Aiming to improve performance within the operations at all levels

    • Proving and challenging the effectiveness of the training process, including mandatory policy training, internal process training and general operational procedures

    What we're looking for:

    • Excellent personal administration and technical skills

    • Ability to organise yourself and your work and bring structure to unstructured situations

    • Having experience of delivering training, preferably within a financial crime or highly regulated business environment

    • Subject matter expert in financial crime

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • A good understanding of financial crime operations, in addition to evaluating effectiveness of training while utilising metrics and business results to drive turnaround

    • Able to cope and thrive in a high pressure and rapidly changing environments

    • Wide experience in the training cycle, including training needs analysis, training design and delivery across a multi-site, and preferably a multi-cultural, organization

    • Demonstrable ability to oversee a project and ensure a successful project lifecycle

    Where will you be working?

    The Bournemouth Wealth Office is located between Bournemouth and Poole with Sandbanks beach no more than 500 metres from the front door. We have a significant number of restaurants and sports clubs locally which make this a great office to work in. We work very closely with our BUK colleagues and share the growing Barclays Eagle Lab on site. This creates significant interest across the region and provides an opportunity for the teams to get together regularly.
