Working as part of the Product Management community, you will advocate for product-led digital transformation, and the product management process as a whole. You will do this by actively building professional relationships with colleagues and clients to increase your network and broaden your knowledge base within product management while also monitoring and building a point-of-view on relevant product, public sector, and technology trends.

You will:

Essential:

  • Extensive Product Management experience, with proven expertise in leading and owning the delivery of digital products, showcasing the ability to drive initiatives from conception to implementation
  • Experience delivering Products in the public sector
  • Willing and eligible to apply and obtain UK security clearance to Security Check (SC) level, if not holding an existing clearance.
  • Great at delving into the details, as well as being able to think about the bigger picture and confidently discuss creative ideas, technology, and user experience, just as you can with conversion rates.
  • Interested in honing processes and evaluating new tools.
  • Organised and a collaborator with ability to mentor to junior colleagues.
  • Be as interested in managing people as managing products.
  • Able to coach others in agile practices and product management principles.
  • Able to think of new and innovative ways of working to achieve the right outcomes. You can act as a recognised expert and advocate for the approaches, continuously reflecting and challenging the team.
  • You know how to influence, challenge and coach. You can anticipate how constraints might change and know where to challenge or how to remove them.
  • You understand the marketplace, realising the benefit and persuading others that a product is the right one to use. You know how to integrate a product with other services. You can ensure that products get used. You can realise benefits by linking work in progress back to the business case. You can build business cases based on user needs.
  • You can apply experience of the stages of the product life cycle. You can recognise when it is right to move forward and when it is right to stop. You can recognise the appropriate deliverables and the right people to meet these. You can work with other agile delivery operations throughout the product life cycle. You can plan and engage with the appropriate stakeholders at each stage in the project.
  • You know how to anticipate problems and how to defend against them at the right time. You understand how the problem fits into the larger picture. You can articulate the problem and help others to do it. You know how to build problem-solving capabilities in others.

You'll be joining one of our innovative virtual communities based in (UK Wide with occasional travel to London), with hybrid working.
