Deloitte's T&L Digital Innovation team is a key strategic function within the T&L business and includes several future-looking capabilities that combined, are helping to drive exciting and innovative growth opportunities. You'll work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of industry, T&L SMEs, technology, and data specialists to provide specialist analytics and data science expertise and support on a diverse range of projects with both an internal and client focus.

Your role will be as an AI Engineer within our expanding Data and AI Studio. The role involves working on new and existing projects and products, delivering insights to clients, and utilising data to make smarter, better decisions. For this role, you will be a logical problem solver with great attention to detail, willingness to learn, and flexible working across data, AI, engineering, analysis and cloud engineering and automation domains.

Responsibilities:

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a backend or full stack software engineer, creating, monitoring, and troubleshooting API's.
  • Extensive experience in python programming. An advocate for PEP8 compliance, clean code, unit testing, and version control. Comfortable in Git, Unix and pytest.
  • Experience with common Python data mining and wrangling packages, such as pandas, numpy, sklearn, pytorch, langchain, llamaindex, bedrock, sagemaker, huggingface, mlflow, gradio, Flask, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, psycopg2, boto3, gunicorn, pytest, scrapy.
  • Experience with cloud services like Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, ML Studio, Synapse Analytics, etc.)
  • Keen interest in researching, testing, and implementing cutting-edge technologies to solve problems.
  • Support the end-to-end data client projects, from POC development to production/cloud environment.
  • Knowledgeable about machine learning techniques and data engineering lifecycle (ML Ops)

Desirable:

  • Handling and transforming unstructured data sets using Natural language processing, GenAI techniques.
  • Imaging analysis in a cloud environment (Google Cloud Vision, Azure OCR Services)
