Leader within the ITS Business Quality Assurance (QA) team responsible for delivering high quality outcomes from QA & testing on solutions. Able to lead and manage a team to ensure the success of solutions. Responsible for functional and non-functional test automation development and maintenance, in line with our QA Automation Strategy. This role is required to work within project & product teams to lead & deliver automated testing of APIs, repeatable processes, functionality, and some back-end/infrastructure activities. Our test automation work is varied spanning: desktop estate (Mac, Windows), off the shelf vs custom developed vs integrated apps.

Professional experience:

  • Strong knowledge of creating test scripts from functional and non-functional requirements
  • Proficient in conducting UAT and working with end users
  • Knowledge of test toolsets such as Azure Devops
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript and web services
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems at an enterprise level i.e group policy objects (GPO) and software deployment
  • Understanding of DevOps pipeline i.e. change, release & deployment processes
  • Experience of SDLC methodologies e.g. Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, BDD
  • A professional and confident style, with drive & enthusiasm and with a strong ability to multi-task
  • Ability to build good relationships & conduct effective technical discussions with senior leaders and peers
  • Good communication and presenting skills with keen attention to detail
  • Experience in using test automation and test automation tools
  • Qualified in ISTQB or equivalent

Desirable:

  • Certified with ITIL Foundation level
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience in QA Test consulting
  • Experience in financial application testing
