  • Leading in the coaching, mentorship, and development of other team members.
  • Engaging with our clients to understand their vision, goals and objectives.
  • Understand the business requirements of the ServiceNow solution being designed and translate them into technical designs and specifications, identifying potential risks/issues and able develop contingency plans.
  • Ensure the integrity of the solution i.e., is compliant with industry standards and regulations, the solution is secure, and that data privacy is maintained.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Developing high quality design and facilitation material/artefacts such as High-level architectures, low-level architecture, and workshop presentation material
  • Identify and solve complex technical problems across the software development lifecycle.
  • Lead, motivate and collaborate with team members across multiple workstreams including program leadership, Business analysts, developers, testers, and other stakeholders.
  • Able to manage conflicts and escalate effectively when prudent.
  • Foster the growth of our people and business.
  • Supporting our business and practice development activities relating to our growing ServiceNow capability.
  • Leading the development of innovative market solution offerings based on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Defining and maintaining technical governance, principles, standards, and policies to support our Global Delivery capability.
  • Understanding and contributing to the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects on large scale, multiple system implementations to ensure the ServiceNow solutions fit into the wider Enterprise technology landscape.

Your role will focus on providing expert advice and leading the solution orientated aspects of ServiceNow engagements. As a Solution Architect you will need a combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills and as part of that you will have responsibilities for:

We are looking for individuals who are confident, experienced and team driven whilst being able to bring your own experiences to strengthen our growing capability. Deloitte works best connected and we are looking for individuals with the ability to foster relationships across the firm as well as with our clients.

To qualify for the role, you must be able to demonstrate skills and experience in some or all of the following (depending on level):

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, challenging and varied environment.
  • Working directly with clients and forming partnered relationships.
  • Extensive and multiple ServiceNow implementation experience in large complex environments.
  • Experience in end to end implementations of ServiceNow.
  • Extensive technology experience in an advisory or consultancy capacity.
  • Advanced understanding of ServiceNow development practices and proficient in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS.
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent from a reputable institution.

Desirable experience

Not essential but preferred experience, skills and certifications:

  • Certified ServiceNow CMA and/or CTA
  • Certified ServiceNow System Administrator and Application Developer.
  • Certified ServiceNow Implementation.
  • Certified in ITIL v3 Foundation or higher certifications.
  • Experience in ServiceNow scripting using JavaScript or Jelly including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, etc.
  • Post-graduate experience – either consulting or in one or more of the following industries: Financial Services, Public Sector (Central and /or Local and Regional Government, Healthcare and Education), Consumer Goods, Retail, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Energy and Utilities, Telecoms, Media, Technology

Desirable eligibility

Security Cleared (SC) or SC eligibility is strongly desirable, particularly if seeking to work in Government and Public Sector
