As a Retail Leader on our team, you will support the following aspects of the Retail delivery and practice operations:

• Advise clients in their design and implementation of Oracle solutions for Retail (grocery, supermarkets, discount retailers, hypermarkets etc) companies.
• Engage with clients in understanding their requirements, scoping, and defining solutions, explaining business benefits and develop a roadmap to meet their goals.
• Leverage business knowledge & packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate technology into the clients' business environment to achieve client expected business benefits.
• By developing a personal client network, you will support business development activities to grow revenue for the team and assist in achieving the ambitious growth targets in this area.

As a subject matter expert on Oracle product suite (preferably Oracle Retail Cloud MOM) you will:

• Collaborate with partners (both internal and external) to co-innovate and co-develop solution designs and accelerators which solve industry problems and build upon Deloitte's extensive service offerings.
• Be responsible for driving growth in Deloitte's Grocery/Mass Merchandise industry sub-segments of Retail, specifically building capabilities focused on Grocery, apparel and specialty retail segments
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members based onshore and offshore on both projects and initiatives to drive them to closure
• Participate with a community of practitioners to drive eco-system development externally (Alliances, Joint Solutioning, New Account Openings) and internally through go to market training and development.

Primary Skills

• Deep understanding and substantial experience in Industry, specifically in the Retail Sector. Demonstrate intimate knowledge of industry pain points and problems impacting the industry.
• Experience in Retail Cloud Solution Architecture and/or TIPL framework is an added advantage.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage a team as well as mentor them to develop technically and professionally.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Oracle Packaged solutions (Oracle Retail MOM/ Planning/ ISO suite of modules), emphasizing intimate understanding of key business processes like Omnichannel retail, Inventory, procurement, Promotions, Retail Pricing, Merchandising, Omnichannel Planning, Replenishment, Allocation, etc.
• Must have strong consulting orientation including an ability to quickly comprehend business problems and articulate solutions in terms of business value provided.
• Experience of working in client facing roles is preferred - leading the delivery of projects for clients.
• Exposure to Connected Commerce, Omnichannel, Retail Planning and Sustainability practices is an added advantage.
• Exposure to leverage Cloud, Data Analytics, AI/ML for building innovative retail use cases and solving industry challenges is an added advantage.
• Should have an Agile Delivery mindset of converting POCs to assets.
• Should have been involved in developing thought leadership point of views, blogs etc.

Secondary Skills

• Leverage business knowledge & packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate technology into the clients' business environment to achieve client expected business benefits.
• Good communication skills and familiarity with industry-wide best practices in proposal management.
• A team Lead and Player with an outstanding ability to work with people at all levels, including senior executives.

Our hybrid working policy

You'll be based in (London office or other office nationwide) with hybrid working. Our hybrid model enables our people to collaborate, connect and innovate in both a virtual and physical capacity.
