    About the role

    We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Engineering Technician to join our dedicated team at our state-of-the-art Erith CFC. The CFC boasts world-leading technology and fulfils thousands of customer orders each week.

    Our Trainee Engineering Technicians are our next generation of aspiring engineers. You will play an integral role in supporting the operation, reacting to any engineering faults, undertaking reactive and planned maintenance, as well as supporting improvement projects. There are great development opportunities for colleagues who want to progress their career in Engineering.

    You will work a shift pattern to support our 24/7 operation, consisting of 12 hour shifts across days, nights and weekends.

    About you

    If you are looking for your first step in a career in Engineering, this role is for you! Ideally, you will either have completed an apprenticeship, a Level 2/HNC/NVQ Engineering qualification, or relevant hands-on experience. You might already have some experience of working in an automated environment, but we will provide full training. You are comfortable working safely at height, and you are happy to work to a 24 hour shift pattern.
