JOB TITLE: Head of Regulatory Delivery, LBCM

LOCATION: London

HOURS: Full-time

About this opportunity

As Head of Regulatory Delivery at Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM) you'll have the ability to interpret complex financial regulation and market data. Utilising your strong numerical and problem-solving skills to create financial models to value positions, produce corroborative analysis and explanations to support the valuations and advise on technical transactions (across Insurance, Independent Price Verification and Treasury Finance).

You'll lead the LBCM TWD solution contributing to the delivery and implementation of the regulatory requirements and completion of remaining IBOR related activities in LBCM by providing guidance to the Business Area, and through working with the wider Group to deliver consistent approach and engagement.

Within role you'll be required to work closely and collaborate with a diverse group of Senior Stakeholders to successfully deliver large regulatory programmes for LBCM, in accordance with the LBCM risk appetite and business plan approved by the Board.

Responsibilities include;

  • SME on regulatory projects on behalf of the LBCM CFO, the Accountable Executive
  • Recovery and Resolution lead for LBCM – responsible for effective engagement with Group Resolution team
  • Manage relationships with strategic internal customers and act as their business partner
  • Monitor and manage a wide range of activities ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements through liaising with all Business areas and internal risk management functions while supporting the development and implementation of the organisation's compliance policy
  • Develop strategic solutions to long-term business needs by anticipating complex issues, challenges and opportunities
  • Identify industry best practice, facilitate deep dive risk reviews - and ensure, legal, regulatory and professional compliance
  • Identify and champion opportunities for change to deliver continuous improvement.

What you'll need

  • The ability to interpret complex financial regulation and market data, utilising strong numerical and problem solving skills
  • Apply a comprehensive understanding of the credit, market, operational and regulatory risk associated with the scope of LBCM businesses
  • Project & stakeholder management experience combined with technical knowledge and expertise
  • Ability to build and nurture relationship with key stakeholders
  • Collaborative approach
  • Evidence of strong risk management capabilities
  • Strong influencing and communication skills, particularly at a senior level. With a demonstrated ability to effectively, present and influence credibly using brilliant storytelling ability
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to identify tactical and strategic improvement opportunities
