Responsibilities

  • Operate change management controls covering development, testing and delivery of regular technical updates to the Group's ESG reporting system
  • Provide support to the systems' user community including taking ownership of problems and fault management to resolution
  • Support the ESG Finance team to define and develop ESG reporting systems and processes including delivery of process improvements in line with the Group's internal and external reporting requirements
  • Support ESG data analysis and reporting from existing Group systems including the SAP ERP system

What you'll do


A driven and focused individual who is equally passionate about reporting and the systems that support it as well as enjoys building and leveraging relationships to develop and improve the reporting processes. The individual will need to be self-motivated in developing this new role, ensure they are proactive in their work, identify new opportunities to embed and improve the reporting process, focussing on efficiency and automation whilst ensuring data quality and compliance. ​ The role requires working with key internal and external stakeholders across the business, supporting the delivery of ESG reporting and for providing best practice recommendations to support and drive the future of ESG and taxonomy reporting.



  • Support the ESG Finance team with the continued systemisation and automation of end to end reporting requirements and processes through the joint development of a fit for purpose system landscape in line with the Group's changing internal and external reporting roadmap;

  • This will include, but are not limited to:Taking ownership of the Group's ESG HFM application that houses our reporting on key environmental metrics;Operate change management controls covering development, testing and delivery of regular system updates; Provide support to system users including problem/fault finding and resolution;Supporting the implementation of a Scope 3 reporting tool;

  • Working closely with the ESG Finance team to develop an understanding of the Group's ESG medium to long-term objectives, identifying risks and opportunities to be addressed through:Automation of data feeds from existing systems, which includes SAP; andAssessment of current system capabilities and those of new reporting tools that come to market;Development of automated reports out of system tools


Who you are



  • Minimum 3 years' experience in being part of a team that manages Group reporting applications within a large organisation or a group;

  • Ability to explain complex information to non-IT/non-Finance team members and users;

  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders;

  • Delivery mindset and the ability to identify and implement process improvements;

  • Experience in implementing new system solutions.

  • HFM and FDMEE maintenance and development

  • Knowledge of Visual Basic and Jyphon or Python coding languages

  • Familiarity with SAP analytics and Oracle EPM products
