Responsibilities

  • Writing our ILAAPs and preparing/presenting materials for internal review (Board and Risk committees) ahead of PRA submission.
  • Delivering the F&L components of the Group's ICAAP, and Recovery & Resolution Plans.
  • Undertaking detailed reviews and acting as an advisor to the business, across a wide range of complex funding and liquidity issues and ensuring satisfactory resolution.
  • Ensuring that regulatory, compliance and liquidity risk requirements are kept up to date, accurate and complete records are held.
  • Supporting the Senior Manager in maintaining and enhancing the Group's liquidity risk policy framework.
  • Preparing papers and presentations for a range of internal/external audiences, such as the Group Liquidity Risk Committees, Board Risk Committees and Business / Group ALCOs.
  • Running the F&L relationship with the PRA and engagement with them to respond to queries, review analysis and influence policy.
  • Supporting businesses in their management of F&L Risk including assessment of new products and identification of risks and opportunities.

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in Gresham Street

About this opportunity

We have an opportunity to join us, following an Internal promotion within our Liquidity Policy & Analysis team in Group Corporate Treasury (GCT).

This team is responsible for assessing, communicating, and developing our management of Funding and Liquidity (F&L) risk across the Group.

This role offers the opportunity to set and develop Funding and Liquidity (F&L) Policy for Lloyds Banking Group and play an integral part in F&L risk management. This includes delivering the Group's ILAAPs to the PRA, and the Liquidity components of the Group's ICAAP, Stress Testing, Recovery and Resolution Plans; performing an important advisory role on all matters relating to liquidity, regulation, policy; and building knowledge of the Group's approach to F&L risk.

In this role you'll develop both your professional and personal skills in an exciting area of the bank. You'll also be exposed to senior management and have the opportunity to work across wider Treasury teams, Consumer and Commercial business areas, and our second line Risk teams.

Day to day you'll be;

What you'll need

  • Excellent analytical skills: experience of reading, interpreting, and applying regulation e.g. LCR, NSFR, Recovery and Resolution. Ability to breakdown policy and to articulate LBG's compliance to it based on LBG approach and practice.
  • Excellent communication skills: in both written and verbal communication of policy and risk management to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent collaboration skills: ability to build strong and effective relationships, pro-actively engaging with collaborators and colleagues to deliver timely results.
  • Demonstrated commitment to endeavours and a real interest in Treasury and the principles behind Funding and Liquidity; what drives them as well as understanding of LBG's balance sheet/key businesses and the Liquidity risk inherent within them.
  • Curiosity and knowledge of market practice in Funding and Liquidity. Experience and knowledge of liquidity risk management frameworks.
  • Strong prioritisation and time management skills.
