Responsibilities

  • Using the systems available to accurately identify trends and opportunities to improve our maintenance operation
  • Access to our colleague networks providing a space for colleagues to come together from a range of backgrounds
  • Providing remote technical support for proactive diagnosis of maintenance problems to bring them to a permanent and timely solution
  • Undertake site visits as required to support role
  • Developing formal incident/investigation Ways of Working methodology
  • Working in collaboration with colleagues to optimise our resource and dispatch programs, building effective relationships and communicating clearly across different functions, managing expectations where necessary

About the role

To deliver exceptional industry-leading service through the oversight of reactive & preventative maintenance related activities, by effectively collaborating with field teams, and external bodies, to overcome barriers to service.

You will be responsible for

Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence and have these specific risk responsibilities:

  • Providing remote technical support for proactive diagnosis of maintenance problems to bring them to a permanent and timely solution
  • Using the systems available to accurately identify trends and opportunities to improve our maintenance operation
  • Working in collaboration with colleagues to optimise our resource and dispatch programs, building effective relationships and communicating clearly across different functions, managing expectations where necessary
  • Developing formal incident/investigation Ways of Working methodology
  • Undertake site visits as required to support role
  • Ensuring there is a safe environment for those who work and shop in our stores and offices
  • Ensuring assets are fixed to agreed time scales
  • Putting community, customer and colleague welfare at the heart of every decision I make
  • Meeting all my statutory requirements
  • Managing my workload to make the most of my time at work
  • Being aware of the cost implications of my actions treating others how I would expect to be treated

You will need

  • Maintenance and/or engineering experience
  • Customer service in a relevant fast moving 24/7 business.
  • 5 years' experience within a relevant industry provider in a related engineering role.
  • Refrigeration experience ideally from a commercial back ground with experience maintaining and installing refrigeration units and packs.
