Your role will be to deliver commercial due diligence projects and ancillary consulting services to private equity houses, private equity portfolio companies and financial institutions across all sectors.

You will deliver services ranging across; quantitative and qualitative commercial due diligence, market, value creation and M&A strategy as well as support with assessments, performance improvement evaluations, operational due diligence, value creation planning, synergy development and implementation of value creation plans across the digital and non-digital functions.

By developing a personal client network, you will support business development activities to grow revenue for the team and assist in achieving the ambitious growth targets in this area.

As a Manager, you will have responsibility for:

Connect to your skills and professional experience

Essential:

  • Strategy and Consulting background
  • Experience of serving Private Equity clients in mid market and large cap environments (ie £250m+ revenue)
  • Focus in: Life Sciences, Fin Tech, and TechExperience of building relationships with key Private Equity houses, and an excellent sector understanding of how these houses operate and transact
  • Clear understanding of developing and creating strategy for Private Equity houses to deliver value creation
  • Experience in commercial Due Diligence for Private Equity
  • Experience across the full spectrum of M&A operations services (operational due diligence, operational performance improvement, value creation and synergies)
  • Experience of platform investments, roll up, buy and build and carve out strategies
  • Ability to support the delivery of Digital transformation programmes
  • Strong problem solving, business diagnostic and analytical skills
  • Excellent financial analysis skills, with core experience of analysing and understanding financial statements particularly relating to operations and costs
  • Experience of supporting business development and understanding business operations
  • Self starter with a key ability to manage own workload and delegate where appropriate
  • Experience of being a key member for best in class projects for clients
  • Ability to operate and deliver results in a fast paced often fluid work environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral, with strong powerpoint presentation skills – creating meaningful decks which clearly communicate messages and findings
  • Strong commercial acumen and project management capability with a track record of successful delivery
  • Exceptional academic background
  • Exemplary document, design and production skills

  • Flexibility for international travel
