Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining cross-business relationships at senior levels.
  • Administering and supporting the delivery of the partner selection and admissions process including liaison with the Lead Partner, Partnership Committee Chair, assessors, HR and candidates. (The Partnership Committee is a group of appointed experienced partners who provide independent oversight of the Partner promotion and admissions process for internal and external candidates).
  • Planning and supporting the delivery of the Partnership Committee Wash Up meetings, including attendance and collation of recommendations.
  • Planning and event management of partner candidate networking events for both internal and external admissions.
  • Reviewing, updating and refreshing admissions guidance documentation for the businesses and candidates.
  • Updating and creating communications for businesses and candidates.
  • Maintaining the process TEAMs and SharePoint sites.
  • Supporting the Admissions Managers with key Executive deliverables.
  • Working with the Partner Hiring Team on a new project to refresh the lateral hire partner process.
  • Ownership and maintenance of the shared Partner Matters mailbox.
  • Supporting the exploration and, where possible, leverage of digital solutions into the admissions process.
  • Supporting the delivery of an enhanced new partner transition journey, working closely with counterparts in the Learning CoE to ensure that processes complement and align with each other to achieve the best possible transition pathway for our new Partners.
  • Supporting the admissions managers in meeting NSE (North and South Europe) reporting requirements and to ensure the UK approach aligns to the NSE common standard.
  • Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.

There is an opportunity for a strong Advisor to join the team, focused on partner admissions. Working closely with the Admissions Managers, you will have key responsibility for supporting the delivery across partner admissions, both for internal and external candidates.

We are continuously working to enhance our selection and admissions processes, to improve the candidate experience, deliver equity of opportunity and quality outcomes. You will be involved in executing our ambitions for partner admissions and making sure that process updates are integrated seamlessly into our business and delivery teams. The role requires strong and productive working relationships with HR, Quality & Risk, Finance and other support functions and is an exciting opportunity to gain critical operational experience, working in a high performing team, with the firm's most senior people.

Some key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Essential:

  • Demonstrated capability and experience at an Advisor/ Assistant Manager level.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and deliver quality in all work, particularly in the creation of formal and informal deliverables. In addition, being analytical and able to develop or review management reports.
  • Have strong inter-personal skills, including verbal and written communication (including reports and presentations).
  • Be professional in approach – instilling confidence that they can operate in sensitive environments with ease and handle confidential data appropriately.
  • Demonstrate an appropriate level of commercial acumen expected of an Advisor and be able to connect that to the role, our purpose, the decisions we make and the relationships that are established.
  • Be able to work alone or part of the team and leverage resources where appropriate. Be responsive, adaptable, and open to change – doing what's required to get the job done. You will be willing to learn, open to feedback and prepared to be challenged.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of our firm and its structure (internal and market facing) with an awareness of the key features and attributes of our partnership.
