Responsibilities
- • Ensure activities and care are developmentally appropriate in which children from a range of social, economic and cultural backgrounds are able to develop and grow, in particular those with special educational needs and with English as an additional language. • Assist children with personal care, including help with toileting, changing nappies, feeding, food service and other similar duties. • Prepare and serve food, milk, drinks and snacks to children, encouraging good nutrition and sociable eating. • Ensure the nursery’s resources, supplies, books and other equipment are kept in good condition and used responsibly. • Ensure that the nursery environment is welcoming, comfortable, well organised and uncluttered and ensure ongoing cleanliness of nursery.
