Working within the our Audit & Assurance business, our cross-industry portfolio involves a mix of broad technology assurance, IT external audit and other controls assurance work (e.g., third party assurance, SOC reports etc.). We are looking for an individual to play a key role in the growth and maturing of our IT assurance business. Our purpose is to serve the public interest and provide high-quality, independent IT external audit and controls assurance services.

You will have responsibility for growing our delivery of assurance engagements across corporate, public sector and financial services clients and targets, focusing on a broad range of IT related assurance projects. In addition, you may own a portfolio of third-party assurance clients, with real autonomy allowing the development of leadership and management skills with real opportunity to progress and drive your career.

As a Senior Manager within the IT Specialist Community of Audit & Assurance practice, you will have responsibility for:

  • Playing a leadership role within our IT assurance team, and managing, coaching and developing more junior members of the team.

To qualify for this opportunity, you must have the following professional experience:

  • Experience of assessing and reviewing technology assurance engagements.
  • Demonstrable experience of people leadership.
  • Experience of interacting with senior client stakeholders.
  • A professional accounting qualification (for example ACA, CA or CPA) is beneficial but not essential.
  • A technology related background and or IT/third-party assurance experience is desired.
  • Strong experience of developing client relationships, identifying and developing opportunities.
  • Experience of selling and leading IT and third-party assurance engagements.
  • Experience of the common third-party assurance standards and guidance (including ISAE 3000 and 3402, SSAE18, AAF 01/20).
  • Ability to think creatively, generate innovative ideas, challenge the status quo and deliver effectively with what can often be ambiguous requirements or environments.
  • A proactive mind-set and hunger for continuous learning, with the ability to take responsibility and drive key actions forward coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills to aid effective interaction with senior clients and stakeholders.
