Responsibilities

  • Build a strong relationship with project team members across the PQTS+ and external suppliers based on trust and collaboration.
  • Establish project organizational structure and maintain governance throughout the technology transfer.
  • Create/drive the technology transfer schedule that delivers the project on time and on budget.
  • Ensure timely and effective flow of information both internally and externally to maintain timelines.
  • Effective partnering with the quality and MSAT organizations within GSK and the suppliers to ensure the timely execution of all technology transfer deliverables.
  • Drive project schedules and supplier performance against EM-LM business objectives and KPIs.
  • Efficient and effective project management, including appropriate and timely escalation of project priorities, risks and issues to ensure project delivery.

    The Project Manager is accountable for setting up and delivering the technology transfer schedule in preparation for operationalizing a new key supplier of specialty medicines or an extension of a current supplier with a new asset.

    The role will be the key project point of contact between GSK and the supplier to drive technology transfer activities, mitigate risks and resolve issues. The successful candidate will be able to manage strategic relationships, accelerated project timelines, budget and GSK Senior Leader communications and escalations for the project(s) in which they are responsible

    Basic Qualifications:

    We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
    • OR High school degree with 5 years pharmaceutical manufacturing
    • 2+ years of experience managing projects
    • Experience working in a matrix team environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in delivery of strategic business projects with associated responsibility for risk/issue, timeline and budget management
    • Sterile manufacturing experience
    • Experience in management external relationships
    • Experienced in end to end Supply Chain Management.
    • Experience working with third party contract execution. • Biopharmaceutical industry experience. • Production experience in applicable product-based technology. • Operational quality experience in applicable product family. • Experience and/or knowledge of production scheduling
