    Job Title: Senior Project Delivery Professional

    Location: Warton, Samlesbury, Brough or Prestwick. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

    Salary: £54,793 + depending on experience

    What you'll be doing:

    • Lead development of Jira based task management
    • Management of schedule, delivery dependencies, artefact and deliverable tracking
    • Issue management / support to schedule and risk management
    • Develop and maintain the Centre of Expertise performance reporting
    • Manage the delivery of the CoE Investment cases
    • Liaise with Engineering Function project delivery leads to ensure CoE support
    • People manager responsibilities maximising the use of Engineering Assistants

    Your skills and experiences:

    • Project Management Qualification e.g. APM, PMP, Prince 2 or equivalent experience
    • Demonstrable experience working as a Project Manager in a complex organisation
    • Proven ability to confidently influence a range of stakeholders including engineers
    • Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Predict, Archer systems is highly desirable

    The Centre of Expertise team:

    This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a diverse department covering all phases of the lifecycle supporting all Products (Goods and Services) engaging with all Lines of Business within the Air Sector. The CoE covers existing projects such as Hawk, Typhoon, Tornado along with Future Programmes such as FalconWorks and FCAS/GCAP and provides expertise to Corporate, other BAE Systems Business Units and Industry/Customer working groups in specialist areas.

    The team is focused on building up SQEP across all areas and actively supports training and internal/external working group interactions to enhance personal development. This role can offer growth and development as well as the opportunity for line management responsibility. The role would be suitable for somebody looking for a challenge and who is adaptable to multiple working environments
