Responsibilities

  • Communicates with internal and external customers including attendance in customer performance meetings and internal meetings with Senior management team
  • The Fibre Networks Authority will be aligned to a customer programme, but will be closely aligned to the wider Fibre services capability of Vodafone. Working on complex customer requirements and acting as lead designer for deployment/assurance activities.
  • You will act as SME for assurance activities including expected fibre loss calculations/reporting of routes/reporting of planned activities that will impact the service
  • Act as an Escalation Point for Technical Issues
  • Create close working relationships with Fibre services and adoption of working practices and geospacial mapping tools
  • Takes a key role in Technical Forums with other areas of Vodafone, as well as customer

    What you'll do

    Who you are:


    Security Clearance: This position requires the person to hold or to be eligible to undergo UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance



    • Multiple Initiatives - ability to manage multiple demands & workflows, manage to deadlines and priorities

    • Provide consistent pressure and challenge to proceed at pace and with rigour whilst maintain good working relationships with colleagues across the business

    • Understanding of the E2E deliver function of Vodafone Fixed, Mobile & Consumer Services

    • Understanding of the systems used to manage and delivery customer/project orders (e.g. Clarify, ORMT, GIS etc)
