  • Responsible for sales activity and performance of team, critical to the delivery of the regional sales strategy. To do this you will conduct market research, making adjustments to maintain optimal team performance, taking into account changing forces, competitor activity and internal volume targets.
  • Responsible for timely and effective coaching and mentoring for your team, in doing this you will create a reputation that attracts the best talent both internally and externally, honing an environment for the team to focus on customer loyalty and created long-term relationships, using reward and recognition tools to motivate team.
  • Move customers away from end-of-life technology to new technology protecting their experience and revenue.
  • Utilise sales reporting, analytics and commercial insights to drive continual improvement for the best KPI outcomes, actively managing under performance.
  • Accountable for ensuring compliance requirements with sales processes, sales pay plan, sales incentives, legal and competition (salesforce data management, pipeline and winning new business management). Also accountable for compliance of team e.g. mandatory training, gifts and hospitality policies.

    As the Inside Sales, Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving sales performance, managing the diversity of customer accounts for the region through frequent and meaningful customer interactions.     What we'd like to see on your CV

    • The ability to coach and lead a team is integral to this role - influencing, developing, driving and motivating at an operational and tactical level.
    • Experienced people manager, with HR procedure knowledge and performance management.
    • Be able to deliver business objectives, stretching sales targets, while cultivating a high achieving culture.
    • Practised in accurate forecasting, with confidence to challenge status quo when more effective, efficient routes are identified.
    • Stakeholder management across field based and other internal teams.
    • Public sector experience is desirable.
