    We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Manager – Regulatory Issues.

    We are hiring for a Senior Manager to join the Risk and Compliance Assurance Services (RCAS) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the design and effectiveness of action taken by HSBC to address regulatory findings as part of the Risk 2025 Programme. This is an exciting role that will contribute to assurance validation reviews across multiple lines of Business and will play an integral part in providing insightful efficiency to the Risk function.

    In this role, you will:

    • Be a subject matter expert in audit, assurance, or control testing to ensure the Group meets its regulatory obligations.

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

    • Thorough experience in Assurance, Audit, Compliance, or Risk Management.

    • A good understanding of Financial Risk taxonomies for Traded Risk, Wholesale Credit Risk, Treasury Risk or Climate Risk.

    • A good understanding of PRA and FCA regulations with an interest in the changing regulatory landscape.

    • Experience liaising with local and regional senior stakeholders and wider teams to drive change that will improve current processes.

    • Proven ability to question, evaluate and improve existing business processes and identify ways in which this can be improved in line with policies.

    The base location for this role is London / Hybrid.
