Job title: Warehouse Logistics Team Leader

Location: Cowes – Isle of Wight

Salary: Up to £39,000 dependant on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

• Consistent daily usage of the ERP system SAP to facilitate warehouse stock management
• Management of Team's Skills capability, enforcing a right first time culture
• Compliance internal BAE Systems & Financial Requirements – where applicable
• Complete accurate project bookings and cost capture, Expediting urgent requirements within the area
• Provide local leadership, managing team's absence & performance within a high performing culture
• Identify opportunities to drive efficient delivery within area of control through use of process improvement methodology

Your skills and experiences:

• Usage of a warehouse management ERP preferably within SAP is essential
• Hold experience of managing teams within a related capacity
• An awareness of Logistics within either BAE Systems/ MoD or other likeminded industries
• Be able to manage within complicated processes and maintain informative written records
• Hold knowledge of business improvement methodologies

The Warehouse Stores Team:

This is a fantastic opportunity to be working within a fast-paced moving environment which requires full team participation. This role will require you to communicate effectively and proficiently at all levels throughout the business, interacting with multiple teams such as procurement, projects & production control to name a few.

The Stores team have contributed to major projects throughout BAE. Overseeing around 30,000 items to facilitate and assist the RADAR Team and their efforts.
