Responsibilities

  • As a member of the Safety Cell , you will be responsible for liaising with all stakeholders and co-ordinate activities to support the maintenance of an effective Air Safety Management System.
  • Conduction Human Factors Investigations and providing specialist assistance for accident/incident investigation
  • Delivering Human Factors Training as part of the SMS enabling activities
  • Maintaining a configuration-controlled SMS and managing changes as required and provide specialist assistance for the hazard management process
  • Develop and integrate trending data and HF specific Air Safety reporting into Bowtie methodology to deliver real-time awareness of the effectiveness of Flight Operations risk management barriers
  • Co-ordinate and manipulate inputs for the safety review structure (SRG, SCAR ASCAR)
  • Assist and coordinate in the delivery of SMS competencies and training interventions
  • Deliver the Air business/governance element of the safety communications strategy and provide advice, information and coaching and ensure a safety culture is promoted

    Salary: £47,683 + (Commensurate with skills and experience)

    What you'll be doing:

    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential:

    • A good communicator with strong presentation/facilitation skills, and the ability to exchange factual information clearly at multiple levels within the organisation
    • Previous experience in a safety environment and a good understanding of risk analysis/root cause analysis
    • Ability to analyse and interpret data trends and understand the impact potential of cumulative risk

    Desirable:

    • Facilitation/Teaching experience
