Job title: Senior PLM Application Support Engineer

Salary: £47,683-£52,426 (dependent on skills and experience)

What you'll be doing:

• Provide SME level expertise on the Siemens Teamcenter PLM application
• Provide specialist advice on toolset usage to the end users
• Support licence renewal, hosting and utilisation monitoring activities
• Contribute to and maintain a support knowledge base
• Incident and Request Management through our ITSM toolset Service Now
• Infrastructure monitoring and trend analysis
• Reporting on toolset data, licence and service statistics

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Understanding of Engineering PLM toolsets (Teamcenter Unified and/or Enterprise PLM/PDM)
• Understanding of Engineering and Manufacturing support needs
• Able to operate independently to investigate and resolve issues as they arise, either learning on previous experience, by searching knowledge bases or by engaging other members of the team and building your own network
• Experience of working in a Support environment or rolling out a new PLM toolset

Desirable:

• An awareness of ITIL Foundations and Service Desk experience would be desirable
• Knowledge of Siemens NX would be an advantage

The Air PLM Application Support team:

As a Senior Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues within the Teamcenter PLM toolset. The PLM Support team provides specialist IT application support services to the Engineering user base of Siemens Teamcenter Enterprise and Unified. These toolsets are configured for the Air Sector use case, so extensive training will be provided to the right individual

The ideal candidate will be joining a dynamic team with a variety of skills and expertise and will be able to influence how the application will develop over time to support the future of our Defence technology
