    Job description

    The individual will be responsible for creating sales and marketing thematics that are commercially aligned to the strategy of Prime Finance

    Role Description:

    • The individual in this role will be responsible implementing and executing a strategy to increase brand awareness of HSBC's Prime Finance business in the Americas by driving bespoke content produced for clients consisting of conference calls, podcasts, roundtables, participation in industry events, and surveys & papers.
    • The individual will work in partnership with the Prime Finance Origination and Sales team to deliver new business from new clients, organic growth of existing relationships and support business retention
    • The individual is expected maintain relationships with COOs, CFOs, Treasurers and Head of Operations to understand key exogenous and endogenous issues impacting their business and derive solutions for these clients by forging internal partnerships with product experts across the bank.
    • The individual will manage relationships across the Alternatives Industry including Law Firms, Accountants, Technology providers, Trade Organizations and Allocators.
    • The individual in this role will be responsible for contributing to the overall client strategy by staying on top of forthcoming change, regulatory or otherwise, impacting client behavior. The individual will work closely with product to determine how HSBC and its client base should react, and possibly adapt, to this change.
    • The candidate needs to be creative, persistent and assertive in finding ways to bring new revenue opportunities and grow client balances.
    • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to seamlessly work with other parts of the bank to finds way to penetrate the targeted client base.
    • The candidate will need to have a robust understanding of Prime Brokerage including but not limited to: 1) Cash Prime Brokerage 2) Synthetic Financing 3) Stock Lending 4) Market Access 5) Cash Equities 6) Equity Derivatives 7) Electronic Execution and 8) Margin Financing of Fixed Income Assets.
    • The candidate is also expected to provide regular insights and drive strategy to further develop HSBC's Prime Finance business.
    • The individual is expected to have a strong understanding of the Alternatives Industry and the operational intricacies of the Prime Brokerage business
    • The candidate needs to have the ability to work across the Markets business globally to build relationship around both new and existing clients.

    For this role, the targeted fixed pay is $250,000.

    • Have strong interpersonal skills
