Job Requirements:
· This role will typically be accountable for architecture for all Platforms within a given BU / Domain
· Provide hands-on technical leadership in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service, as directed by the leadership of the DevOps team.
· Ensure service resilience, service sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.
· Contribute to business strategy definition, a trust advisor for CIOs and COOs.
· Responsible for optimisation and improvement across various systems such as applications (in-house developed and commercial software), databases, middleware, networks, platforms etc., and the improvement of system reliability and performance by applying necessary finetuning and configuration changes, fulfil business growth requirements, maintain data integrity, and improve user experience.
· Responsible for addressing security issues and incident re-simulation across multiple platforms/applications.
Requirements
Qualification and Skills:
· Full stack software engineering capability including front-end, middleware, backend is a must.
· Strong analytical, design and problem-solving skills; excellent team player with ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
· Platform Architect must have the ability to collaborate with other engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service's direction. They should provide technical leadership in identifying and resolving all incidents associated with the IT service.
· Commitment to the resiliency vision, attention to details and willing to dedicate efforts.
· Business knowledge in financial services industry (retail, wealth management, insurance) is preferred.
· Strong communication skill in both verbal and written form; capability of delivering effective presentation to teammates and external and internal stakeholders.
· Be able to work across multiple domains of knowledge and skills, and share knowledge across the team.
