RBWM Data and Analytics CoE is Global organization that specializes in providing state of art analytics and solutions to the RBWM Business. The function supports Product, Channel, Pricing, Digital and several other areas within RBWM. The department has more than 300 Machine Learning Users and are building this capability with several use cases. Opportunity to leverage advanced analytics to solve business problems.
We play a crucial role in leading and identifying opportunities to reduce Fraud losses. This will involve the set-up of new models, data solutions and driving the Strategic Analytics capability builds, working closely with the Fraud teams to develop clear action plans for fraud mitigation and optimization of fraud referral rules.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Data Scientist.
In this role, you will:
• Assist in the design, implementation of ML algorithms and deploy them in the production environment.
• Support, develop and monitor all steps in the end-to-end ML lifecycle, including provision of infrastructure and resource management, integration, testing, releasing, deployment and monitoring.
• Ensure and improve the performance of the ML algorithms at scale.
• Produce and manage code repository, artefact, documentation, user manual and backup.
• Design and develop software to automate the building, testing and deployment of ML algorithms and analytics activities.
• Perform continuous training of ML models to ensure models are performing as expected, , within Feedzai fraud platform and BigQuery
• Support, develop and monitor the whole data analytics lifecycle, from data preparation to reporting.
• Collaborate with data wranglers, data scientists, data engineers, model governors and data quality and governance managers to improve the ML and wider data analytics pipelines.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• PHD or Master's degree in numerate subject, such as, mathematics, engineering or computer science or relevant experience within these fields.
• Extensive experience of data technologies, including relational, dimensional, NoSQL data platforms plus metadata and data transformation tools.
• Experience of managing and using traditional warehouse technologies (Teradata) and analytics platforms (SAS)
• Experience building cloud native solutions, such as data lakes and enterprise big data and analytics platforms, in particular using GCP.
• Experience of open source technologies, such as Apache Hadoop, Spark, Airflow, Python, R, TensorFlow, Airflow, Git and Jenkins.
• Experience and development of ML and analytic models.
• Experience of automation, CI/CD, monitoring and logging platforms and solutions, especially cloud and open source.
• Experience working in large and complex organisations.
• Experience of agile and agile lifecycle management tools, in particular JIRA and Confluence.
The base location for this role is Hybrid in London, Birmingham, or Sheffield
