Responsibilities

  • Key accountabilities:
  • The Commercial Planner role sits within the Devices team as part of the wider Device Ops, Products & Services department, with responsibilities into both the UK Consumer Division and Vodafone Group Products & Services organisation.
  • The role of the Commercial Planner will include analysing data outputs to create insightful reporting for senior stakeholders, management of pricing & commercials, and regular tracking of team KPI's such as sales performance, stock management supplier funding and market insight &performance. You will also be responsible for supporting the underlying quarterly planning process, interfacing with teams responsible for the device portfolio, commercial deals, and all go-to-market elements of the business's quarterly plans to create robust commercial analysis that forms part of our monthly and quarterly packs - which are shared with CLT and key stakeholders across the business.
  • Reporting into Senior Commercial Manager - Devices and supporting the Commercial Planning Manager.
  • Analysing and updating monthly and quarterly reporting for the full Device Operations area.
  • Ability to analyse large and varied sources of data and combine them to make recommendations on driving commercial performance across Device Operations.
  • Will also support other areas in enhancing reporting and analysis - such as refurbs and working capital.

    • Strong communication skills.
    • Financial/commercial analysis experience.
    • MS Excel and PowerPoint at intermediate level.
    • Experience in Telecoms.
