    What you'll be doing:

    Your skills and experiences:

    Essential:

    • Experience in analysis of aerospace structures and associated processes, methods, and tools
    • Professional Qualification: Relevant Engineering/STEM degree (BEng or Higher)

    Desirable:

    • Experience of different stages of the Product Lifecycle – Concept Design through to Integration and Test
    • Ideally chartered engineer or pursuing chartered status
    • Knowledge and experience working on fibre element analysis, stress analysis, hand calculations and composites

    The FCAS Digital Engineering Team are paving the way for breakthroughs in new product development, operational performance, support and maintenance. By exploiting the latest digital technologies, data and the new engineering thinking to create better, faster and more cost-effective outputs we are providing the foundation to deliver the Global Combat Air Programme across the UK, Japan and Italy.
