    Job description

    • JOB TITLE: Workplace Experience Communities Central Event Co-ordinator
    • LOCATIONS: Edinburgh, Leeds or Bristol
    • SALARY: £28,329 - £29,820
    • HOURS: Full Time
    • WORKING PATTERN: You'll be expected to work from one of our workplaces 2/3 times a week

    We're looking for customer centric people, that'll take ownership of LBG workplace experiences. You'll need to have passion for process improvement and be a workplace role model driving LBG culture within our workplaces.

    It's our goal to ensure our buildings are safe, secure, have a sense of community and are places that colleagues love to work.

    Responsibilities

    • Supporting our Workplace Experience Managers and Workplace Atmosphere Squads to run the best workplace communities, including providing them with event and process support, including onboarding of these colleagues
    • Supporting with building and socialising our Workplace central events calendar
    • Co-ordinating Workplace events & activities that happen in our buildings
    • Supporting our signature Workplace events like our office opening celebration events including the core event logistics
    • Support running of regular community events and attend other events to raise awareness of Workplace Communities
    • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders (Mitie, H&S, Risk, Data privacy etc) to ensure the smooth running of Workplace events
    • Producing regular communications for events and activities
    • Co-ordination and ongoing maintenance of Events Hub, outlining events principles and supporting to simplify our processes to make it easier for us to run events and activities within our sites
    • On site support at workplace events across the UK including central and local community events and high profile events such as board
    • Keeping up to date with external events industry and feeding in new ideas to improve our Workplace events and overall experience
    • Completing and reviewing event risk assesments

    What we'll need from you

    • Experience in event management
    • You care about colleagues and want to make a difference to their working day and how they feel about their workplaces.

    • Good stakeholder management skills.
    • Evidence effective planning and managing of projects.
    • Ability to think creatively and facilitate group ideation.
    • Strong storytelling ability through both internal and external presentations.
    • Produce engaging, and clear communications intended for colleagues.
    • Build relationships with those around you quickly – understanding needs and putting others at ease.
    • Consistently apply an inclusive approach to work, showing care for other colleagues.
