    Job description

    Job Summary

    The successful colleague will become a critical member of the Resource, Planning & Performance Team and will play a key role in the delivery of team goals and the LBGs Purpose.

    They will lead on a holistic approach to resource and planning – understanding our priorities, legal and regulatory requirements, and the value of our investigations.

    We are looking for someone who can:

    • Plan and prioritise work and resources to meet commitments aligned with our objectives and medium to long term goals.
    • Write and edit materials for a variety of target populations, tailoring the tone and content to match the needs and expectations of each audience.
    • Provide a range of outputs including modelling of data, accurate forecasting and giving advice to drive delivery and improve performance.
    • Handle and deliver accurate and robust plans to support business decisions and performance monitoring.
    • Complete Short to Medium Term Capacity Planning, Co-ordinating and prioritising resources to achieve team goals.
    • Ensure all work is processed to meet internal and external requirements.
    • Ensure that all adverse trends in problem occurrence and / or workflow are fully investigated, and action taken to minimise the risk of re-occurrence. Including contacting suppliers to understand changes in volumes.
    • Understand and manage any associated operational risks and mitigate.
    • Develop and maintain appropriate controls and procedures to ensure compliance with Group standards and best practices.
    • Oversight Daily reports (Dash, daily update) and streamlining our resource & planning approach.
    • Work independently to produce accurate plans and reports.
    • Be proficient working with Advanced Excel and Powerpoint.
    • Perform standard and non-routine administrative data processing tasks.
    • Engage with the wider team to deal with Resource & Planning related queries.
    • Be an integral part of the team, working with colleagues & stakeholders to understand their requirements and improving the potential of this shared service.
    • Communicate the story of where 3i's are from a volumes and resource perspective.
    • Support new ways of working and embrace technology to better analyse, interpret and utilise our resources.

    You will also:

    • Have excellent attention to detail ensuring accuracy.
    • Demonstrate strong communication skills with the desire to engage and influence colleagues.
    • Have excellent numerical & analytical skills.
    • Manage relationships with internal customers and act as their business partner, while taking guidance from senior colleagues.
    • Manage your own workload to ensure timelines are delivered upon and prioritise the work of others in the team appropriately.
