    We are seeking a customer focused person who thrives on making a difference, to join this team in the role of Relationship Manager, Business Banking Direct.

    The Relationship Manager, Business Banking Direct is a crucial role to both HSBC and the communities we serve. The successful applicant will need to be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, building strong and trusted relationships with clients, while offering appropriate support to ensure customers can sustainably grow their business.

    *Please Note: Even though the base location is listed as Leicester, this is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work at any HSBC Commercial Centre around the UK. However, you will be required to attend the Commercial Centre for at least 3 days a week.

    In this role, you will:

    • Be an ambassador for HSBC and develop the bank's profile in the wider community

    Requirements

    To be successful in this role you should have:

    • Experience of working in a Commercial Banking environment or similar entity

    • Commercial lending experience and knowledge of the lending process

    • An understanding of credit with the ability to undertake financial analysis

    • A willingness to network in order to develop new business

    • Passion to deliver outstanding customer service while proactively seeking innovative ways to improve this service

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills in order to influence, collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders

    • A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes
