    The Business Architect is accountable for supporting the businesses to create and maintain business process maps for any new or modified process, while ensuring that these align with Group standards. This role will work closely with the US Architecture Lead to ensure a consistent and effective business architecture approach is followed that is aligned with the overall DAO strategy and Group standards. This role will also support inventory management and ensure Group standards are translated and mapped to regional requirements.

    • Represent US DAO in all matters related to business architecture
    • Support businesses in creation and maintenance of business process maps with practices aligned to Group
    • Ensure Group standards are mapped to regional requirements, (including Important Business services implementation, tooling)
    • Review business process map updates to account for new processes or modifications, and provide approvals as needed
    • Support data inventory management and related processes

    For this role, HSBC targets a fixed pay range between $128,100 and $192,200.

    The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of hands-on experience with business architecture practices incl. business process mapping
    • Understanding of the creation and maintenance of business process maps aligned with Group and regional expectations
    • Experience with inventory management and related processes
    • Previous GB/GF systems knowledge to support stakeholder management
    • Necessity to make robust/tough decisions that may be contrary to others' wishes and ability to prioritize competing demands
    • A good knowledge of the Group (or a similarly situated large global organization) and its strategy, internal policies, and procedures is preferable
    • Proven ability to manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholder relationships
    • Strong leadership and management ability, developing and motivating employees over multiple sites
    • Able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines and be change-oriented
    • Strong problem-solving skills
