    Salary: £35,347 dependant on skills and experience

    What you'll be doing:

    • To be a principle point of contact for Warship Engineering (WShp) demand, project and general planning activity relating to infrastructure provision, repair and maintenance
    • To lead on the development of project plans and equipment schedules for BAES project related and general planning activity within the Infrastructure Management team
    • To lead with respect for others, integrity, attend and contribute to team meetings and events as appropriate
    • To provide detailed analysis and appropriately tailored synopsis of the likelihood of a successful outcome of project plans

    Your skills and experiences:

    • Good awareness of interfacing processes in engineering, supply chain, commercial and asset management
    • Desirable if you have AutoCad
    • MS Project Tools, Excel
    • Excellent organisation and Coordination skills
    • Experience of influencing stakeholders inside the company
    • University degree, or an extensive practical knowledge gained through experience
    • Naval Base, Ship Yard, MOD, Operations experience Desirable but not Essential

    The Infrastructure team:

    As a member of the infrastructure team, this role is to work with multiple BAE Ship Repair teams, MOD and service providers across all areas of Portsmouth Naval Base to provide essential requirement planning, detailed scheduling and delivery co-ordination of multiple work tasks, activities and projects to enable effective delivery of Warships Operations.

    This role is to ensure that all infrastructure and supporting facilities required by Ship Repair are in place to enable delivery of contracted outputs and develop appropriate Management Information Systems to enable the effective assessment of infrastructure and facility capability, availability and associated issues and risks in support of Ship Repair outputs.

    At the tactical level, you will support the development of solution for improving building facilities, operational delivery management processes and arrangements for ships both in dry dock and wet berth.
