Responsibilities

  • This role requires a candidate who is an end-to-end service technical expert with strong technical acumen who is passionate about technology and service with the experience with defining and driving how we operate and maintain service end to end.
  • They will be able to work with technology subject matter experts and drive improvements cross functional / vertical to ensure cross system service designs that will improve our service KPI's and help lead transition to a cloud based network.
  • We're searching for a candidate with exceptional communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with a diverse audience ranging from system experts to technical and non-technical teams, and confidently presenting to leadership teams.
  • Collaboration is key in this role. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to foster true collaboration, setting a clear vision and strategic plan with a focus on service and customer satisfaction. They should have the capability to bring both internal and external stakeholders together, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Moreover, the successful candidate should demonstrate a deep understanding of the current technology landscape while also staying updated on the ever-evolving fixed and mobile technologies, as well as the broader ecosystem and regulatory environment. Keeping abreast of these developments is crucial for staying ahead in the telecommunications industry.
  • Key senior technical interface for regulatory and legal intercept internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead the definition and evolution of the E2E service definitions ensuring functional and regulatory compliance
  • Engage with SME's across Networks , and external organisations to understand the key drivers, challenges and opportunities to improve process, tools and culture towards a service first approach.
  • Influence and drive the technical changes for end-to-end service performance, monitoring and culture.
  • Evangelise end-to-end service performance within Technology and influence stakeholders across the industry.
  • Work closely with the CNF and VNF SMEs and VIO to ensure that E2E service is assured

    Who you are



    • We're looking for the ideal candidate to have a proven ability to strategically design end-to-end service and operating models. Your track record should demonstrate not just the ability to define, but also successfully implement service improvements.

    • You'll need to possess excellent knowledge of both mobile and fixed networks, coupled with substantial experience in the telecommunications sector. Familiarity with national MNO technical regulations and legislation is a must, along with proficiency in protocols such as Diameter, SIP, Sigtran, and others.

    • In addition, you should excel in utilizing OSS layer tool sets to build comprehensive cross-network service views for performance and event monitoring. Strong stakeholder management skills, both at the technical and leadership levels, are essential, as is the ability to effectively analyze and communicate complex information.

    • Experience in leading teams, either directly or indirectly, is highly valued, as is possessing UK Security Clearance. A background in telecom/services and a strategic technical acumen are prerequisites for this role.
