    This position will be part of the Equity Derivatives IT team in HSBC's Global Banking and Markets Division. The Equity Derivatives technology group spans the globe and services all client areas within the bank for Equities-related services.     We're looking for a talented UI/UX Developer that'll be responsible for the design and development of user interfaces and experiences that delight our users and drive engagement across the platform.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with users and product owners to understand user requirements and translate then into functional UI designs.

    Requirements

    Essential skills/experience:

    · Proven Experience of user-centred design principles, interaction design and information architecture.

    · Experience working with Equity Derivatives products and systems.

    · Expertise in React.js and its ecosystem, including state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and component-based architecture.

    · Expertise in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and responsive design principles.

    · Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for creating exceptionally user experiences.

    · Good understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative design processes.

    · Knowledge of Continuous Integration products such as TeamCity and Jenkins.

    · Excellent stakeholder management skills.

    This role is based in London and offers hybrid working.
