Technology Services exemplifies technical excellence in delivery and support, you are part of the Technology Services team and personally responsible for quality, process improvement, delivery and supporting your team.

    You are responsible for contributing to the design and deployment of new bespoke systems as well as supporting and maintaining existing ones. You should also contribute to innovation and development of new products, and process improvement initiatives. This role will require working as part of a team, supporting colleagues and collaboration with customers.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Assists with technical decisions that influence the success of projects and team objectives.
    • Performs a broad range of complex technical or professional work activities, in a variety of contexts.
    • Participates in external activities related to own specialism, e.g. attending technical conferences, knowledge sharing.
    • Responsible for resolving incidents and service requests in line with SLAs to enable continued system operation.
    • Identifies and communicates opportunities that assist with setting technical direction, with respect to best practice for domains of operation.

    You'll have the following skills/experience:

    • JavaScript / TypeScript
    • Frontend frameworks/Libraries such as React and Vue.js
    • Source Code management such as Git
    • Running applications as containerised deployments with Docker or Kubernetes
    • Defining and interacting with Application Programming Interfaces
    • Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
    • Experience working with cloud environments.
    • Database management and interaction (mySQL, SQL)

    You may also have:

    • Understanding & experience with application infrastructure
    • Providing 3rd line support to production environments.
    • CI/CD processes such as GitOps
    • Cloud certification
